Probably the best price vs performance card out there?
This is The Visiontek Radeon HD 4850 graphics card from ati. This is a x16 pci-E slot graphics card, that supports pci 2.0 which basically doubles the bus rate from pci 1.0. This is on amazing card, and for many reasons. One reason is the fact that it can stand up to a 9800gtx which is much more expensive, and if you can crossfire two of these it could stand up to Nvidias unrealesed GTX200.
This card has 512mb of gddr3 memory core clock is at 625mhz but is easily overclockable (ATI has that reputation for having easily overclockable cards) the shader clock should be in the 1000's range. The 4850 has a whooping 800, thats right 800 stream processors. So much for the 9800gtx.
In recent benchmarks the Visiontek HD 4850 outperformed the 9800gtx in some games. I have the link go and see for your self
